This little encaustic painting and collage is made with encaustic beeswax and collaged paper. The rich texture present on this piece was created with modeling paste and then topped with wax. The beautiful gold shimmer is created with gold shimmer dust that is sprinkled on the hot wax. Sized 6X6 inches and mounted on birch panel.
