Handmade Books

The handmade books are accordian style. The opening of the book allows the memory to unfold and the closing of the book allows the memory to recede once again. The book safely contains the objects between its pages and keeps them together as a group, preserving memory of object and place.

Some techniques utilized in the making of these books are: The cut out, collagraph, xerox transfer, colored pencil, graphite, drypoint, linoleum cut, acrylic paint, and digital collage.
